Con la publicación del informe A diez años de la iniciativa de Mercados Familiares, Espacios Abiertos arrojó luz por primera vez sobre cómo funciona un programa en el que el Departamento de Agricultura y el Departamento de la Familia trabajan conjuntamente para que los beneficiarios de la Tarjeta de la Familia puedan adquirir alimentos frescos producidos en Puerto Rico.
